Notes on Washington

  • Unofficial results; SOS publish asOf 2026-11-05T04:01:31.3211464Z (counties report once per business day; certification Nov 24, 2026).
  • Washington is all vote-by-mail and counts for days after Election Day; totals will grow substantially. The SOS page lists county-level 'Estimated Ballots Left to Count' but no percent of expected vote, so pctReporting is null.
  • Top-two general election: every 2026 House race was D vs R, so no same-party matchups.
  • Write-in votes are reported by the SOS as a single 'Write-in' line per race and are recorded as 'Write-ins' (party O).
  • Race calls (status/winnerParty) come from Ballotpedia district pages, which project a U.S. House winner only after both DDHQ and NYT have called it; WA-04 and WA-05 were not yet called.
  • WA-04 is an open seat (no incumbent on the ballot, per Ballotpedia).
