Notes on Tennessee

  • Votes parsed from the candidate data embedded in the official TN SOS results page (data-candidates attribute per race). Unofficial, not certified.
  • Every House race is labelled 'Final Unofficial Results' with all counties completed (e.g. 12 of 12). The source gives counties completed, not a percent of expected vote, so pctReporting is null.
  • The source lists no write-in line for House races; only ballot candidates are recorded.
  • Tennessee used a new mid-decade congressional map in 2026 (Memphis/Shelby County split among TN-5, TN-8 and TN-9; TN-4 now includes parts of the Nashville area and Rutherford County), per WSMV/WPLN coverage.
  • Incumbent flags are from the compiler's knowledge of the 2025-26 delegation (Van Epps won the Dec 2025 TN-7 special); the source does not mark incumbents.
  • TN-4 is left uncalled: Broderick (D) leads DesJarlais (R) by 280 votes in final unofficial results. As of 2026-11-05 ~14:15Z the AP showed the race uncalled (Broderick +0.143 points, ~99% counted), NBC News showed no projection, and WPLN had retitled its story "Unofficial results show Democrat leading".
  • Race calls re-verified 2026-11-05 ~14:15Z: TN-1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8 are AP calls. TN-7 is an NBC News projection; the AP has not called it. TN-9 rests on Pearson's concession; neither AP nor NBC has projected it. Vote counts were re-fetched from the TN SOS page at the same time and matched exactly.
