Notes on North Carolina
- Unofficial results from the NCSBE election-night results feed (file last modified 2026-11-04T21:14:39Z). County canvasses are scheduled for Nov. 13; results are not certified.
- 2026 congressional map: the 2025 General Assembly redraw (changes centered on NC-01). District numbers follow the 2026 ballot.
- All precincts reported in every district per the feed: NC-01 290/290, NC-02 156/156, NC-03 190/190, NC-04 142/142, NC-05 230/230, NC-06 195/195, NC-07 183/183, NC-08 193/193, NC-09 169/169, NC-10 187/187, NC-11 290/290, NC-12 145/145, NC-13 140/140, NC-14 142/142. pctReporting is null because the source gives precincts reporting, not a share of expected vote; provisional and late military/overseas ballots were still outstanding.
- Write-in totals appear only where the SBE reports them (NC-02: 'Write-In (Miscellaneous)').
- NC-03 (Murphy +233), NC-05 (Hubbard +99) and NC-07 (Rouzer +2,425) are within the 1% recount threshold and uncalled as of collection.
- Calls for NC-06, NC-08, NC-10, NC-13 and NC-14 come from NBC News Decision Desk projections, confirmed on each district's NBC results page (these were first inferred from NBC's statewide tally of 9 D / 2 R / 3 uncalled). NC-03, NC-05 and NC-07 show no projection from NBC or AP as of 2026-11-05. Race calls come from news reports only; vote counts come only from the SBE feed.
- Verification 2026-11-05 ~14:30Z: every candidate total in every district was re-fetched from the official source and matched this file exactly; race calls were re-checked against NBC News district pages and news reports. The NCSBE feed file had been modified again (Last-Modified 2026-11-05T13:55:34Z), but no House totals changed.
