Notes on New Hampshire
- Results from the NH Secretary of State's 2026 General Election Results page (https://www.sos.nh.gov/2026-general-election-results). The SOS says tallies 'reflect the returns of votes reported by clerks but are subject to change if clerks submit amendments'; not certified. Workbook Last-Modified: CD1 2026-11-04 21:23:17 GMT, CD2 2026-11-04 23:01:04 GMT.
- sos.nh.gov blocks non-browser clients (Akamai 403), so each workbook was fetched in a real browser session and its sheet XML parsed in place. Votes are the TOTALS row of each sheet; summing the town/ward rows (CD1 109 rows, CD2 211 rows) reproduced the TOTALS row exactly. Raw workbooks were not saved to disk; re-running needs a browser fetch.
- pctReporting is null: the SOS gives no reporting percentage (the workbooks list every town in each district).
- Robbie Mahrou is listed with party 'i' (independent) and coded I. Write-ins as reported by the SOS.
- Race calls: NBC News New Hampshire House results page lists 2 Democratic seats won (Shaheen, Goodlander), read 2026-11-05. NH-01 is an open seat (Chris Pappas ran for U.S. Senate).
- Independent verification 2026-11-05 ~14:25Z: both workbooks re-fetched in a browser session (Last-Modified unchanged: CD1 2026-11-04 21:23:17 GMT, CD2 2026-11-04 23:01:04 GMT); TOTALS rows and town-row sums re-confirmed for every candidate and write-ins. CD2 lists 18 unincorporated places with zero votes.
