Notes on Montana
- Unofficial results; page states 'Results last updated: 11/5/2026 6:50:25 AM MT'. Statewide 728/728 precincts fully reported (MT-01: Precincts Fully: 346 / 346; MT-02: Precincts Fully: 383 / 383). Precinct completion is not a percent of expected vote, so pctReporting is null; late absentee/provisional ballots may still be added.
- Montana's results site does not report write-in votes ('Write-in results are not reported on this site'), so no write-in line is included.
- Candidate names are converted from the site's all-caps to title case.
- MT-01 is an open seat (no incumbent on the ballot, per Ballotpedia). Race calls come from Ballotpedia district pages (DDHQ + NYT consensus).
- MT-01 call (added in verification, 2026-11-05): Ballotpedia had not yet marked it called (it requires both DDHQ and NYT), but Decision Desk HQ projected Sam Forstag (D) the winner and Republican Aaron Flint conceded to Forstag on election night (KBZK/MTN; Daily Montanan; Montana Free Press). AP had not called it as of Nov 4-5 reports.
