Notes on Mississippi
- VOTES MISSING for all four districts. The MS SOS results index lists no 2026 general-election page yet (only the March 10 primaries), and the results application path (sos.ms.gov/elections/electionresults_aspx/...) returned a Cloudflare 'Sorry, you have been blocked' page (HTTP 403) to the collector; the block was not circumvented.
- No acceptable secondary source was found: the Wikipedia per-state page has empty result boxes, and news outlets (WLOX, Mississippi Free Press) and Ballotpedia report AP/Decision Desk HQ data, which this project may not reuse. Collecting all 82 counties' official returns was not feasible in this pass.
- Candidate names/parties are from the Wikipedia per-state page's general-election boxes (secondary) and listed with votes null so the seats can render; Carl Boyanton's party appears as Independent on that page.
- These seats contribute zero votes to the national total until official MS returns are collected.
- Race calls are AP calls (re-verified 2026-11-05 ~14:15Z): MS-1 Kelly, MS-2 Thompson, MS-3 Guest, MS-4 Ezell. Decision Desk HQ projected the same winners. No AP or DDHQ vote data is used.
- Candidate list corrected at verification: the Wikipedia boxes left out Johnny Baucom (Libertarian, MS-1) and Bennie Foster (Independent, MS-2), both shown on the AP results listing. They were added with votes null. Names only; no votes were taken from AP.
- Re-checked 2026-11-05 ~14:15Z: the MS SOS results index still lists no 2026 general-election page (only the March 10 primaries).
- Re-checked 2026-11-05 (later pass): Wikipedia per-state page general-election boxes still have empty vote fields; all four seats remain missing.
- Seats MS-01–MS-04: vote counts from CNN's results page (media tally) because the state's official results were unavailable when collected.
- Refresh 2026-11-05T17:35:47Z: replaced with CNN's media tally because it had counted more votes than the previous source: MS-02 (243,693 -> 243,837), MS-03 (248,587 -> 250,538).
