Notes on Maryland

  • Unofficial results scraped from the Maryland SBE results page ('Last refreshed: 11/05/2026 08:08:04 AM' ET). Not certified.
  • Counts are partial: provisional ballots show 'NR' (not reported) in every district, and Maryland continues counting mail-in ballots after Election Day, so totals will grow. All election-day precincts had reported (MD-01 309/309, MD-02 241/241, MD-03 214/214, MD-04 237/237, MD-05 227/227, MD-06 214/214, MD-07 338/338, MD-08 199/199). pctReporting is null because the source does not state a share of expected vote.
  • Named write-in candidates (MD-01 Edward Shlikas 0, MD-03 Robert L. Coffman 3, MD-05 Mildred Marie Hall 6) are folded into the single 'Write-ins' (O) entry together with 'Other Write-Ins', per the schema's write-in rule.
  • Congressional lines are the 2022 map; Maryland did not adopt a mid-decade redraw for 2026 (the results page lists the same 8 districts and incumbents).
  • Calls: all 8 seats come from NBC News Decision Desk projections, confirmed on each district's NBC results page. Race calls come from news reports only.
  • Verification 2026-11-05 ~14:30Z: every candidate total in every district was re-fetched from the official source and matched this file exactly; race calls were re-checked against NBC News district pages and news reports. The MD SBE page was still at 'Last refreshed: 11/05/2026 08:08:04 AM'.
