Notes on Indiana

  • Unofficial results from the Indiana Election Division ENR site JSON feed (OffCatC_1005_A.json, US Representative; feed WriteTime 2026-11-05T08:33 local/Eastern). Settings report Certified = F.
  • Indiana ENR does not publish precincts reporting by congressional district; statewide, 4,788 of 5,067 precincts (94.5%) were reporting at collection time, so pctReporting is null for every seat. Several large counties (e.g. Allen, Marion) appear only partly counted relative to county turnout figures.
  • District totals are the feed's RegionSummary values; they were verified to equal the sum of the county-level rows in the same feed.
  • Declared write-in candidates (marked "(W/I)") are kept as individual entries with the party code the state lists (I or O).
  • IN-01 marked partial: LaPorte County (shared by IN-01 and IN-02) shows 0 votes for every candidate in the state feed (not yet reported).
  • IN-02 marked partial: LaPorte County (shared by IN-01 and IN-02) shows 0 votes for every candidate in the state feed (not yet reported).
  • IN-03 marked partial: Allen County shows 57,956 votes for Kelly Thompson (D) but 0 for Marlin Stutzman (R) in the state feed, so Stutzman's Allen County votes are missing; the district totals therefore understate Stutzman by an unknown amount and Thompson appears to lead. AP's election-night tally (per Indiana Capital Chronicle) had Stutzman at 109,692 votes (54.88%) with 96% reporting.
  • IN-08 marked partial: Vigo County shows 0 votes for every candidate in the state feed (not yet reported).
  • IN-03: the race was called for Stutzman (R) by AP even though the state feed currently shows Thompson ahead; the discrepancy is due to the missing Allen County Stutzman votes described above.
