Notes on Illinois
- SECONDARY SOURCE. Illinois State Board of Elections vote-totals page offered only 2026 primary downloads at collection time; Wikipedia's IL page listed general-election candidates with blank vote counts. Votes copied from each district's Ballotpedia page (IL-01 through IL-17); totals are unofficial and may change before certification.
- Ballotpedia did not list some minor candidates shown on Wikipedia (IL-02 Ashley Banks (I); IL-04 Ed Hershey (Working Class), Lindsay Church (I)); they are omitted, and their votes, if any, are not counted. pctReporting not given by source.
- IL-04: candidate sum 83184 != Ballotpedia total 86143 (2,959 votes, likely the omitted minor candidates); IL-04 marked partial.
- IL-04: county-only partial count replaced with CNN's full-district media tally (2026-11-05T15:18:47Z).
- Refresh 2026-11-05T17:35:47Z: replaced with CNN's media tally because it had counted more votes than the previous source: IL-01 (139,336 -> 219,891), IL-02 (149,048 -> 209,228), IL-03 (103,288 -> 180,783), IL-04 (151,780 -> 152,220), IL-05 (241,478 -> 241,878), IL-06 (185,638 -> 253,659), IL-07 (181,459 -> 183,062), IL-08 (179,439 -> 179,837), IL-09 (164,402 -> 242,632), IL-10 (227,150 -> 230,432), IL-11 (136,020 -> 230,060), IL-12 (172,983 -> 279,419), IL-13 (226,555 -> 251,178), IL-15 (278,532 -> 288,061), IL-17 (228,838 -> 235,467).
