Notes on Connecticut

  • Source: Connecticut Secretary of the State election night reporting system (ctemspublic.pcctg.net), election 108 '11/03/2026 -- November 2026 State Election', data version 52429 (re-checked 2026-11-05T14:08Z; House counts identical to the earlier version 52426, whose files are no longer served), read from the system's JSON data files (stateVotes, Lookupdata). Results are marked '*Unofficial Results'. Statewide precincts reporting: 775 of 776 (99.87%); the only town not fully reported is Plymouth (1 of 2 precincts), which is in CT-05.
  • Fusion voting: party lines are summed per candidate and credited to the major party (CT-02 George Patrick Austin: Republican + Independent Party lines -> R; CT-05 Jahana Hayes: Democratic + Working Families lines -> D). Line-level counts are in partyLines; the sums match the state's own cross-endorsement grouping totals (candidateGrouping file: Austin 109,132; Hayes 145,580).
  • Write-ins: CT reports each registered write-in candidate separately (CT-01 Mark Stewart Greenstein 16; CT-02 Kyle Gauck 29; CT-03 Andrew Rice 496; CT-05 Jonathan DeBarros 44); each district's write-in votes are recorded as one 'Write-ins' entry. CT-04 had no write-in votes listed.
  • pctReporting is null: the source reports precincts reporting, not % of expected vote.
  • Race calls: NBC News Decision Desk projections as shown on nbcnews.com on 2026-11-05 (vote counts NOT taken from NBC). All five races were projected. Incumbency flags follow NBC News candidate metadata (CT-01 is open; Luke Bronin is not the incumbent).
