Notes on Alabama
- District totals are the sum of county rows in the official 'Export Data' spreadsheet (county x contest x candidate) for contests 'UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE, Nth CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT'. Unofficial, not certified.
- Statewide page reports 67 of 67 counties reported (last updated 11/04/2026 11:16 AM); the export's Statistics sheet shows 2,001 of 2,001 precincts reported. No percent of expected vote is given, so pctReporting is null.
- Write-in votes are reported by the state as a single 'Write-In' line per race and recorded as 'Write-ins' (party O).
- District lines: results are reported by the 2026 district numbering used by the SOS. AL-2 remained a competitive/Democratic-held district (Figures re-elected); the compiler did not independently verify post-Callais boundary changes.
- AL-1 is an open seat (Rep. Barry Moore did not seek re-election); Jerry Carl is a former member, not the incumbent, so incumbent=false.
- Race calls re-verified 2026-11-05 ~14:15Z: all seven are AP calls. Vote counts re-checked against the SOS statewide results page at the same time; every candidate and race total matched.
